We are a storytelling production collective that focuses on what drives the passion of the viewer. We’ve created film for brands & agencies like Coca-Cola, Nabisco, P&G, McDonald’s, LIDS, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Momentum Worldwide, HAVI, The Marketing Store, & CD One Price Cleaners.
We pride ourselves on being like an extension of your own company. Not every business can afford to have video services in house, but with us on your side, it’s as if you do. We handle all aspects of filmmaking from preproduction and scripting through production and post. If you already have in house services, we function as an additional resource for a lot of our clients. When the internal team is bogged down, we’re able to seamlessly step in and help get the work done.
We work on a variety of projects and are able to scale up or down as your project needs. If you have an internal creative team and need someone to help execute a video, we’re able to work hand in hand to get that done. If you just have a spark of an idea, and aren’t sure how to get that made, we’re able to help with that as well. We do everything from brainstorming and scripting, to shooting and editing.
At the heart of the projects we do is Storytelling. Whether we’re on site somewhere in the world filming for a corporate documentary style piece, or we’re creating an illustrated, motion graphics explainer video. The story is the thread that will tie it all together. Everyone is bombarded with a lot of content every moment of the day, and without cohesive storytelling your video will get lost as well.
I, Cal, have almost 20 years of agency and brand experience. At the ripe young age of 18, I skipped college and got my first agency job as an Art Apprentice building packaging comps and presentation materials for one of McDonald’s agencies of record. I worked my way up and started doing photography and video, internal teams at agencies and brands. I toured the world creating content for a pop band and I took the YouTube views of a leader in the sports nutrition industry from under 100k views to over a million in a just a few months. After spending some time in the Digital Out Of Home realm, I decided to hang up a shingle and start AV Collective. We function like a true collective, bringing the right people in to work on projects. That insures you get the quality work you need, without paying the overhead.
