The Anthony Farrer Story

Your story is incredible, we should properly tell it.

You’ve been on an incredible journey. I’ve followed your videos since the first video back in Dallas, I reached out pre-blackout wanting to collaborate when you were looking for an editor, and I’ve continued to follow since. Your story is compelling, as you can see by the people who both love and hate what you do. Obviously things have gone a little sideways for your story, but I think you’ll be able to recover, make everyone whole, and move on to something else big.

Since the blackout I’ve thought your story would make a great documentary in some form. Coming from nothing, going to jail, building a business, recovering from the blackout, moving to LA, breaking up with your partners, and now the current situation. It’s all very compelling, and I think people would be captivated by it all culminating in you paying these people back and going on to bigger things in the future.

So what does all that mean? It means I’d like to come out to where ever you are and do an interview. To be honest, I don’t know if there’s even a complete story here until the current chapter plays out. But, I do know that for the sake of the story, doing an interview now is very important if there ever is a film about your life. Right now is a turning point between a crazy success story or something else and doing an interview and getting some insight into your mindset right now would be key to the second act. Then in 6 months or a year doing another interview with how it ended up.

So if you’re up for it, let me know and I’ll come to where ever you are. We’ll sit down in a hotel room and do an interview. Talking about your journey up to this point and where you think it will go in the future. I don’t know that it will turn into anything, but I do know that it’s important to capture now.

A little about us

It’s important to learn a little bit about who you’re working with before you think about doing something with them. First off, I’m not one of the Reddit trolls and I think they’re mostly insane. I reached out to you before the black out because I loved the channel and what you guys were doing. I think we can both agree the content hasn’t been as interesting since the LA move but the story has only evolved and gotten more interesting which is why I want to come out and film an interview with you.

I’m not fresh out of college and trying to figure out my way through life. I have over 20 years experience in the industry. Spanning from traditional marketing agencies to innovation agencies to brands to digital out of home, even working with literally the biggest music acts in the world. Ten years ago I decided to form AV Collective as a way to provide that same high quality work to clients, but without them having to pay the overhead of a traditional agency.

I know how to tell stories. I’ve done it for top, top brands and artists and I think your story is insanely interesting and we should do a sit down interview.

Here’s what a few of our clients have said about me…

“Working with Cal at AV Collective has been a feather in my professional cap. We have created work that changed the way people thought of my company, turning our executives and customers into rock stars. Cal is highly creative; he can put together innovative ideas and concepts independently. Cal is also highly collaborative, so you can bring your ideas (no matter how crazy) with you and he can help bring them to life.”
— Danielle, Sr. Director

“Words do not describe how amazing Cal and the team have been to work with. They have helped our agency out on a lot of last minute projects, which have included editing, VO, music and design. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness for each project they have been engaged on has been incredibly refreshing. They take true pride and ownership in each project.”
— Tracy, Account Director

“From beginning to end, just a world-class experience. I do know that those words get used a lot, world-class, to the point where they don’t mean much but, for me, as someone who has been on countless photo, commercial, and video shoots, knowing every single detail is the difference between a project that moves through ideation to completion smoothly and an experience that is less than ideal for all involved. Working with Cal has been nothing short of spectacular.”
— Chris, VP Digital Marketing

Why you should do this.

You know your story is interesting and everyone wants to hear it. Things right now are pretty wild and you’re either going to be very successful or fail at it. But this point in the story is a turning point and it’s important to capture what’s happening now in the form of an interview. In 6 months you’ll know the outcome and if someone reaches out to do an interview then, it won’t be as good as doing one now and then.

I know you’re probably concerned that I’m just out to scam you or expose something and I want to tell you I’m really not. I just think the story is interesting. And frankly, it’s probably not a great idea for me to even do it because the potential for being doxxed or having my company get bad reviews or whatever if the insane people on the internet found out I was doing an interview with you.

I like interesting stories, yours is one of the most interesting I’ve ever followed and I think now is the time to capture where we’re at. I really don’t know what I’d even do with the footage but I think it’s important to get and I’m willing to invest my money in travel costs and my time to do it and just see.

So that’s it. Hit me up and let’s chat about doing this interview.
