You may come to us with a finished brief, the beginning of an idea, or simply a goal you need video to accomplish. Wherever you’re starting, we’ll help define the right approach, anticipate what the production will require, and guide the project from planning through final delivery. You’ll always know what comes next, what we need from you, and how the work is moving forward.

We’ll take what we learn on our discovery call, and put together a detailed proposal. It will give you our thoughts on the project, objectives, deliverables, specific past work examples, and of course, the cost. It’s a highly detailed document you can share with anyone on the project.

After the initial spark of an idea, pre-production is the next most important step. The work you do in pre-pro sets up the final video for success. This is where all the planning happens. Scripting, casting, locations, shot lists, voice over, overall creative direction happens here. Even if we’re not filming something, pre-production is a part of every project.

We’ve had the discovery call, shared the proposal, gone through all the planning and scripting. Now it’s time to film. This is dependent on what the project entails, but we’ll come to the location and set up our lights, camera, and audio. Once that’s all set and everyone is ready, we’ll bring talent in and interview or film what we need. We let everyone be their authentic selves, but we’ve done this a lot so we’ll have a plan for how long it all takes. Once we’ve captured everything we need, we’ll break down our gear. Reset the space to how it was. And head back to the office to back things up, so we’re ready for our next step.

If your project required filming, we did that in the last step. If your project is just editing, this is where we edit the video and create the motion graphics. We take the assets from the storyboards, we find other clips or graphics we might need, we do a VoiceOver session if the project calls for it. This is where we take all the ingredients and bake the cake, so to speak. Once it’s just how we like it, we send it over to you for a “first look”. We utilize software that tags comments to the videos so you can gather your and your team’s feedback and we go through revisions until it’s perfect.

Once everything is where it needs to be, everyone has had their time to review it, we’ve made all the changes and everything is just right… we’re still not done on our end. We’ll do what we call the “final pass” and clean up any little things that need tweaking, do any color correction that needs to be done to fit the tone, go through a pass of audio sweetening with a high end audio editing plugin we use, and add captions if you want them. We do this final pass, get everything just right, and then send over the files as you need them. From there, we archive every project we do to our 240TB of server space so that if you need to tweak a word, or repurpose footage for a new project, we have it online and ready to go as soon as you want it.
