Smashing Pumpkins Tour Photography
It takes a special eye.
Live performances are a special moment for the band and for everyone in attendance. And it takes a special eye to properly capture those moments throughout an evening so they can be relived and remembered. I’m a music and tour photographer (in addition to running an award winning video production company), and I’d love to talk to you about capturing the Smashing Pumpkins upcoming tour. I’m no stranger to Smashing Pumpkins shows, and you’re familiar with my photography, even if you’re not aware you are. With the band’s last management company I photographed a number of Smashing Pumpkins’ shows in the Chicago area and the band used them all over their social media to promote upcoming concerts and special events (birthdays, etc) within the band. I consistently deliver high impact, photography that people want to see.
I have the experience.
I have extensive experience creating content for musicians and brands. I started in this creative industry over 2 decades ago and have photographed some of the biggest artists in the world (Smashing Pumpkins of course, The Weeknd, Kanye West, Blink 182, and the list goes on) and I’ve worked with some of the biggest brands in the world (McDonald’s, Mercedes, Nabisco, Red Bull, Coca-Cola, PNG, etc). And I have touring experience as I’ve toured the world as the Jonas Brothers tour photographer, capturing behind the scenes imagery in addition to their concerts. My work has been seen in magazines, on billboards and marquees, and all over the internet.
Why should you hire me?
Well this all might be a moot point, if you already have a tour photographer. If so, great! Just let me know and hopefully in the future we can collaborate again. If not, I’m a good fit because of the imagery I create and the experience I have. There’s a lot of people who can press a camera shutter, but it’s a very small group that have toured at scale. If you rely on local photographers at each show, you can sometimes get good photos. But you need to have consistent coverage from a photographer you can trust, and you own the images for whatever you want to do with them.
What will it cost?
Cost is always the bottom line, and as a business owner I know that. It’s hard to put a number to it until we have a conversation about the opportunity. I’d love to hop on a discovery call and get a feel for what you guys are thinking about tour photography. We could talk direction and expectations and then I could put together an estimate for a project like this.
